We want to become the leading energy innovation ecosystem with the ability to connect talented people, ideas, expertise, technologies and resources to create the energy of the future. We want to help guide the transformation of the energy sector to make it smarter, more efficient and more reliable, developing new products and services for our clients in the process.
This is why we want to hear from you!
We want to work with the best startups worldwide, offering our expertise, opening the doors of our laboratories and guaranteeing the resources required to develop better solutions in a fast way.
Our Innovation Hub is the point of contact between Enel and the ecosystem, able to connect the brightest minds to the opportunities of a Group present in 32 countries and with 73 million customers around the world.
We aim at finding innovative and scalable technological solutions with the potential to bring radical change to the energy sector and we want to do this with the best startups.
Through our Innovation Hub you have the possibility to learn more on Enel technological challenges and on how we can help your company to scale up.
We currently have a particular interest in:
Wind Turbine Blades Damages Detection and Classification
Due to its large and diversified portfolio of wind turbines, Enel needs to speed up and automate the blade failure detection process, leveraging on image recognition algorithms able to identify and classify the different issue that may affect the blades.
The main common failures are the following:
Trailing edge buckling failure
Failure in root region
The system that we are looking for has to support and analyze images coming from different sources and with different quality resolution.
We are not interested in image collection systems (drones, robots,...) but ONLY in image analysis solutions.
